South Africa is located on the continent of Africa, It is very hot and sunny all year round. The currency of south Africa is called rand about nineteen rand equals one USD. The language most spoken in SA is Zulu and Xhosa, the majority of SA are Christian. My favorite part of staying in SA was that the beaches and that it was always just the right temperature in the afternoons it wasn’t so hot that we couldn’t stand it.
Kenya was our second stop, Kenya is also located in Africa. The currency of Kenya is shillings and about 139 shillings is equal to one USD. The main language spoken in Kenya is English and Swahili. The main religion in Kenya is Christianity. My favorite part of Kenya was seeing all the cool animals like monkeys and big cats.
Dubai is located in the UAE (United Arab Emirates). The religion of Dubai is Islam, the currency of Dubai is Dirham about three dirham is one USD. The the number one language spoken in Dubai is Arabic, even though we weren’t there long my favorite part of our stay was walking to a little boat that we had to take across the Dubai Creek.
Singapore was our fourth stop. In Singapore they speak Maylay, English, Tamil, and Singaporean Mandarin. The currency is Singaporean dollar about one SGD is one USD. The religions of Singapore are: 31% Buddhist, 20% have no religion, 18% are Christian, 15% Muslim, 8% Taoist, and 5% Hindu. My favorite part of Singapore was going in the pool and seeing how clean it was.
Thailand was our fifth stop, the majority of Thailand speaks Thai and Lao and about 92% of Thailand is Buddhist. The currency of Thailand is Baht, about thirty six Baht is one USD. My favorite part of staying in Thailand was that the ocean was so so warm and tropical and we rented these scooters that were super cool scooters.
New Zealand has a north and south island but we started at the north and then took a plane across the south then took a car trip back across the south. The three main languages in NZ are Māori, English, and actually sign language has a status in the law of official languages. The main religion in NZ is Christianity, the currency is NZ dollar and about one NZD is one USD.
Japan is the next and last country we are visiting on this trip. I am exciting about Japan because we are going to Tokyo and it is a really big city. I will write about Japan later after our visit there.
